About Us:

Fritzpatricks Irish Pub was opened by Tova and Patrick Hunt in the Summer of 1996.

Situated in the trendy suburb of Essen-Rüttenscheid the pub is 3 km from the city centre ‎and close to the Essen Messe (exhibition hall)‎.

Much loved by locals, expats, and students alike, Fritzpatricks lively atmosphere caters for everyone. Fritzpatricks has seating for 400 inside as well as a 250 seater beer garden.

Inside the pub there are 3 different areas, a relaxed Library room, the main bar area, and the the party room where live music and karaoke are held every weekend.

Our Kitchen:

The pub’s renowned kitchen serves up to 300 meals daily. Irish Brown bread is baked daily and the beef for Fritzpatricks famous homemade burgers is delivered daily from the local Butcher.

Als echter „irischer Pub“ bieten wir Ihnen natürlich eine große Auswahl von GUINNESS, Kilkenny und internationalen Bieren, sowie diversen irischen und schottischen Whiskys an.

Our Events:

Das größte Event im Jahr zweifellos das „RÜ-Fest“ Anfang Juni!
Vor unserer eigenen Bühne direkt vor dem Pub feiern dann den ganzen Tag über 6000 Fans deutsche und internationale Bands!

Bei unseren beliebten Partys zu Karneval, St. Patricks Day, Halloween und natürlich unserer jährlichen Geburtstagsfeier spielen wir immer die TOP100 mit einer Auswahl von irischen Folk-Songs.

Our Staff:

With nearly 50 staff from 22 different nations there is always someone friendly to talk to.

This provides a great opportunity for both local & oversea / international staff members to work in such an English / German environment.

Our current irish staff population is growing on a yearly basis. We are proud of this authenticity that we offer our guests.
